How do I get started on eButterfly?
Welcome to eButterfly! First, a few basics, the most effective and useful way to get your data into eButterfly is by taking good notes at each location. Each time you go butterflying you should try to keep a complete checklist of butterflies with estimated counts of each species, and try to limit your checklists to relatively refined geographic areas (e.g., your yard, a local park, a favourite natural reserve hiking path). The more specific you are about your locations, the better the My eButterfly tools are at building your lists. There is no limit to the number of locations you can have, and a good general rule is the more specific you are with your site information, the better. Below, you can see a detailed infographic for Step 3 of the submission process.
