Wondering why some of my Georgia Satyr Neonympha areolatus observations were just flagged, but admin suggested exactly this species. Where’s the disagreement?
Hi @birddan , it looks like you initially identified these observations as Helicta Satyrs (Neonympha helicta). However, the Admin disagreed with that ID and suggested they were actually Georgia Satyrs (Neomympha areolatus) (Please see the attached screenshot).
As a result, your observations were updated with the new identification of Georgia Satyr.
So, from your dashboard, you can see the Admin’s disagreement with the observation that now has the new ID.
I understand it might be confusing because it seems like the Admin is disagreeing with the same thing, but it’s all related to the observation being updated with a new ID.
We are currently working on a completely new Notifications system that will address all these issues.
I hope this clarifies the situation for you.

OK, thanks. I don’t know why I had these entered as Helicta. I have always known these were Georgia.
