On “My eButterfly” my species count is listed as 41 which I believe is correct. On my user profile my species count is listed as 42. I’m not sure why there’s one added to my life list when viewing it that way.

We are fully aware of these inconsistencies in our stats.
While we have been incrementally growing, each of those stats have been programmed slightly differently every time. For example, some include subspecies and others not, some include species vetted and others not, and some include incomplete identifications (up to genus or family level, for example), and others only include submissions identified at the species level.
That is definitively a problem, and now that we finally pushed the global version out, we have on our high-priority list to standardize these calculations across the site. That fix should be ready in no more than a few weeks
