I keep getting the message “eButterflyAI unable to recognize species in image. Try submitting a clearer image, cropping it or see our help desk for tips.” even for clear, unobstructed images.

We recently experienced some service interruptions due to a sudden increase in users utilizing the AI tool. While this surge in usage is a positive sign, it caused the service to shut down whenever the maximum number of calls to the AI was reached.
As a temporary solution, our developers have created a diagnostic script to restart the model as soon as it freezes, and it is currently operational. This will provide them with the time needed to upgrade the entire framework, allowing it to handle a greater volume of calls simultaneously.
