Bug Fixes
- Step 3 - AI pop-up changes - Changed the image file limit from 5 Mb to 10 Mb and other minor text changes.
- User Profile - View All photos not working as expected - Fixed an issue where, if clicking "View All Photos" from a user's profile, the resulting window would not return the user's photos list.
- Species Profile (Live) - Search not working - Fixed an issue where the species filter in the Explore, IDentify, and Species profile pages were not working properly.
- Step 3 - photo size validation - Fixed a validation issue in Step 3 where the platform would not warn users that they were uploading images larger than allowed.
- Locations duplicated (Live) - Fixed an issue where, under very special conditions, some locations were being duplicated.
- Step 3 - Validation errors more evident - Implemented a red square highlighting to mandatory fields on Step 3 that are improperly filled when hitting "Finish" so the user can be alerted about it.
- Step 3 - Inconsistent Display of species cards - Addressing user's feedback where, on Step 3, when adding species to a checklist, “Add a species” would display a scientific name but when “Adding an image to automatically recognize species,” the species would be shown as the common name. Now the common name is shown everywhere.
- Filtered explore data does not go to the correct place on the map - Fixed an issue where, if a user would filter the explore observations by location, they would be zoomed into Africa instead of the area of interest. For the moment, we disabled the automatic zoom since we have big revamping plans for the map coming soon.
- Step 3 - Problem with image uploading - Fixed an issue where a user would upload multiple images, and only the first three would be displayed.
- Step 3 - X is case sensitive - Fixed an issue that only allowed users to use capitalized "X" on species count but not small "x". Note that the "x" can be used instead of an actual number to represent an indefinite number of species observed.
- Step 3 AI - Hide Accept suggestion button - Implemented an UI fix to hide the "Accept\Reject AI suggestion buttons, only after the species suggestion is given by the AI.
Features and improvements
- Step 3 - Multiple Image uploading - We implemented the ability to upload multiple images at once
- Species Display Language - We implemented the ability for users to select the Language in which they want the species names to be shown (English and French for the moment). To select it, go to Username > My Profile > Species Name Display Language
- Step 3 - Only Scientific Names Showing - Implemented an UI improvement where after selecting a species from the suggestion dropdown, the textbox would get populated only with the scientific name, making it hard if the user didn't know the scientific names and wanted to edit a large checklist. We now show the common names instead
- Step 3 AI -Accept suggestion button text change - Based on an user's suggestion, we changed the text on the Accept/reject prediction buttons from on the AI pop-up window as to reflect better the action taken.
- Step 3 AI -Predict button text change - Based on an user's suggestion, we changed the text on the "Predict" button to "Make prediction" to reflect better the action taken.
