My husband, Bill, took these photos. I have never seen anything quite like this!! Poor guy can’t even retract it’s proboscis because it’s overloaded with sticky pollen! Right? Curious photos.

These photos were taken March 30, 2025 at the Hotel Bougainvillea, near San Jose Costa Rica. The hotel has an amazing garden behind it!!!
Checklist ID is 144664. ID 144663 is the same date and place, just a different time.
